The Beginning
Hypro (Aust) is located in Sydney's Northwest and has been operating since 1998 specialising in animal nutrition. The origin behind the creation of Dogpro is truly a testament to the power of the underdog. Hypro (Aust) was introduced to the dog food market originally as a manufacturer for a much larger international firm, therefore producing a top dollar product at a minimal price and received no credit. Under these conditions, Hypro (Aust) was being used as a cheap labour source to meet the requirements of profit seeking production under the terms of the larger company. With the expiration between the two enterprises, Hypro (Aust) realised its ability to provide and sustain a premium dry dog food for the Australian rural market. As a result, Dogpro was the answer, an affordable high quality dry dog feed that is priced fairly to our consumers.
Dogpro Today
Formed in 2006, Dogpro has truly become a progressive division of Hypro (Aust) specialising in dog nutrition. At Dogpro we understand from a consumer perception that pet food can be expensive, especially when pet food manufacturers pass their high costs onto the consumer. Dogpro endeavours to produce, low cost, high quality dog food at an affordable price and then passing that benefit onto our consumers. That is, our three major value components; good quality, fantastic service at a great price!
